In a shocking incident,a woman passenger was beaten up by a auto driver on st.Mary’s Road,Abhiramapuram on Thursday afternoon.The woman and her colleague were Travelling from Chamiers Road to Abiramapuram .They got into an argument after the driver shot past their destination and at one point during the journey, The auto driver got down from the auto and slapped the passenger on her face with his chappal.The incident happened in full public view at around 2p.m. No one came to the rescue of the women.
